G20 G8 Protest March June 25 2010

The June 25th G20 Protest compared to later days was relatively peaceful except for a small incident that Mr T. Bear missed because of the large number of peanut butter and jelly sandwich and tea breaks he likes to take. He gathered that this trouble resulted in a 30 minute hold by police until they could bring in the riot troops to block off Bay street. Of course the hold and huge police presence served to change the mood of the relatively small group (around 300 people from festive to rather more agitated). Just like the Monday's protest it looked like a bit like practice and a bit of an overkill.

Considering what happened on Saturday onT. Bear wonders what would have happened if instead of blocking off Bay they had left an opening for the the people using Black Bloc tactics to prematurely show their hand.
